Akiko Taniguchi

Akiko Taniguchi was born in 1967. Since completing her MFA Taniguchi has had nineteen solo-exhibitions and ten two-person exhibitions throughout Japan, Canada, Russia and the United States. Taniguchi has also been in numerous international printmaking exhibitions including International Biennial Print Exhibition, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Taichung, R.O.C., 2010, Awards received by Taniguchi for her artistic activities include; Purchase Award for Edmonton Print International Exhibition, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, 2008. Her works remain as public collection include; Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles, CA, U.S.A.
