Aleksandra Janik + Magdalene Hlawacz: Image Transfer Workshop. Acrylic medium transfer.

During 2 days course you will be introduced to various creative techniques of image transfers.

You will learn how to achieve intriguing results with simple methods.

You will have time to experiment with the new techniques and have an opportunity to transfer your images onto your choice of surfaces (canvas, wood, papers, vintage papers, plaster, vellum, matboard, fabric, metal and more) on the first day and complete an art work the day after.

We promise much fun and a richly creative activity.

Duration: 2 days (3 h per day)

Detailed program for each session:

1 day: introductions into transfer techniques, presentation, possibilities of experimenting with the new techniques

2 day: creating and completing of an art work

Please be sure to bring the following materials/tools:

–  canvas, wood boards, papers etc. (for tests – small sizes, not bigger then A5; for an art work – depends on student’s project)

–  laser or toner based black & white photocopies of your drawings and photographs
