Esin Küçükbiçmen: Auto portrait by GlassPrint
16-19 December
Glass can be used as a medium for printmaking. Every scar that is scratched on glass can be visible after it is printed on paper by using printmaking ink. Like time and our characters form our physical portrait, it is interesting to sketch the drawing as a portrait on the paper by looking into the mirror and then transfer this sketch on the foil that is covered on the glass. The goal is to provide to express the contribute himself personally, characteristically, emotionally by creating his/her auto-portrait that include prints of objects that are personally related with the person.
