Peter Bosteels

Professor Peter Bosteels (Born in 1963) is Senior Lector at one of the oldest art education institutes of Europe, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp in Belgium. His field of study is printmaking in which he teaches block printing (woodcut, linocut and wood engraving), digital media (Time Based Art) and art edition (Artist book). He himself has specialised in wood engraving and digital media. Besides these educational assignments he is board member of the council, co-ordinator of Fine Arts and is member of several committees inside of the organisation of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. During the two decades he is teaching at this institute he has been giving courses and workshops in Belgium, Spain, Great Britain and China. He has given several individual and group exhibitions in Belgium and abroad.
