Sebastian Łubiński

I was born in Wroclaw, Poland in 1984.I studied in the studio of Prof. Przemysław Tyszkiewicz at The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Wroclaw and graduated with honors in printmaking in 2015. I was awarded the title of Best Diploma of the Academy. In 2013 I received a MA degree from the same Academy at Interior and Industrial Design with specialization in Industrial Design. In 2014 I was awarded a scholarship to attend the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN, USA where I worked with Beauvais Lyons and Koichi Yamamoto. I live in Wroclaw and do my artistic work there. Between 2012 and 2017 I worked as laboratory technician at The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts and Design. Since October 2017 I become an assistant in prof. Jacek Szewczyk Creative Drawing Studio. I’ve participated in over 50 group exhibitions all over the world and had few solo exhibitions in Wrocław, Poland. Mainly I’m working with intaglio techniques (mostly aquatint, etching and dry point) and with large size drawing (especially charcoal on paper). I’m 2nd year student on PhD Studies at The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts and Design with specialization in Printmaking. During this studies I recived two times in the row Rectors Scholarship for most talented students in 2016/2017, 2017/2018.
