Malgorzata Warlikowska

Malgorzata ET BER Warlikowska was born in 1970 in Gdansk. In 1996 graduated from the Academy of Fine Ats in Wroclaw realizing diploma in printmaking supervised by prof. H. Pawlikowska and prof. J. Szewczyk. Since 1997 has been a faculty member in the home institution, currently runs Studio of Graphic Expansion. Works in printmaking (linocut, silkscreen, silkscreen on ceramics), sculpture in ceramics and painting.

Received honorary mention (2000) and regular prize (2003) in the J.Gielniak Print Competition in Jelenia Góra, honorary mention in the D.Chodowiecki Competition in Sopot (2003), honorary mention in the Lower Silesian Art Exhibition of the Association of Polish Artists in Wroclaw „To be continued… Printmaking and Drawing” (2002), honorary mentionin the competition for the Exhibition of the Year of the Association of Polish Artists in Wroclaw (2002, 2008) as well the 1st honorary mention at the Grand Prix of the Polish Young Print in Krakow (2003), the Price of the Rector of the Academy of Fine Art and Design in Wroclaw for the artistic activity in 2004 and 2008. In 2000 received a scholarship of the University of Acron (USA). Was nominated to the Passports of „Polityka”(2003) and proposed for nomination in the next year.

She presented her works in approximately 50 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 100 group exhibitions and competitions  ( the International Print Triennial in Krakow (1997,2003, 2006, 2009) the International Print Exhibition in Kanagawa in Japan (1997), the International Print Triennial in Kochi (1998), in Finland, in the exhibition „Grafinova” in Haasa (1998); the International Linocut Triennal in Praque, Czech Republic (2004), and exhibition in the gallery Art Poin Black in Florence in Italy (2005); the International Print Biennial in Varna in Bulgaria(2005), in the „Polish Eagles”exhibition – Young Polish Printamking in Soeul, Korea, the International Poster Triennial in Toyama in Japan and 3rd International Drawing Triennial in Wroclaw (2006), the Exhibition of print artists from Wroclaw in Polish Museum in Chicago, USA, in the Print Trienial in Qualan, China (2007), International Print Triennial in Yunnan in China (2008) and 28th Print Biennial in Ljubljana, Slovenia (2009), in European Ceramic Context (2010) on the island of Bornholm in Denmark..)
