Alessandra D’Agnolo

Born in Venice in January 1971, having completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice (painting section) is accepted to a Master in Fine Arts, specializing in engraving techniques at the “Slade School of Fine Art”, University College of London, which ends in 1996.

Exhibitions in Italy, Great Britain, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, America, and Asia where she was invited to participate at the Second Biennial of Art in Beijing.

Quoted in an article in “The Times” by John Russell Taylor, and in one of the “Corriere della Sera” by Sebastiano Grasso in occasions of two different exhibition in London and Milan.

In 1997 she was giving her contribution to set up the “Tavira Print Workshop” in Portugal, where she was also teaching engraving and lithography in 1999.

Since 1998 she collaborates with the Academy of Fine Arts in Porto, Portugal.

In 2010 she was selected for three months of “artist in residence” at the studio Itsukaichi of Tokyo, Japan. In 2012 she was part of the “artist in residence” “Ramos Pinto” in Douro, Portugal
